HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid received CAA Super Grand Prix Award

Rabat, June 14, 2008 -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid was awarded on Saturday the CAA Super Grand Prix Award and medal in recognition of his leading role and meaningful action that he carries out through the promotion of the sport image and the social and moral values of the sport.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid was recognized for his profound and wide-ranging philanthropic contributions, including his notable role promoting the Kingdom of Morocco, and his personal and direct engagement within the framework of the promotion of sports and athletes, growth and prosperity, and for pioneering a number of initiatives focused at spreading economic development, sports, tourism and other human endeavors.

The award was granted to Crown Prince Moulay Rachid by the President of Moroccan Royal Athletics Federation, M.Abdeslam Ahizoune, on the fringe of the Rabat International Meeting 2008 for athletics.

The meeting, which opened Saturday evening in the Moroccan capital city of Rabat, was jointly organized by four institutions, including the Moroccan Royal Athletics Federation, the IAAF, the CAA and the Memorial Van Damme (Brussels).
