Casablanca, July 6, 2008 -- In view of the historic bond of strong friendship between the Kingdoms of Morocco and Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid received Saturday (July 5th, 2008) Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah.
The meeting had a very friendly and open atmosphere with extensive discussion on the bilateral relations, the latest regional developments and the situation in the Middle East where two dignitaries reiterated their permanent stance in support of a comprehensive peace process in the region. They also reviewed other international issues of mutual concern.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also expressed satisfaction at the great development witnessed in the relations of the two Kingdoms and hope for enduring extends of the bridge of joint cooperation to a broader scope.
The promotion of bilateral ties, especially in economics and trade, is in strategic interest for Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, expressly seeking new avenues of closer cooperation and coordination in diverse areas with the aim of enriching these relations to new heights.
