Rabat, September 2, 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid marked the beginning of Ramadan with re-launch of traditional Ramadan lectures.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid highlighted the message of Ramadan as well as the commitment to spiritual growth and charity during the holy month.
Ramadan is the most important month of Muslim calendar. Ramadan is the month of kindness and charity.
Muslims should fast from dawn to dusk and attend special evening prayers to read chapters from the Quran.
Muslims throughout the world began observing the holy month of Ramadan after the new crescent moon was sighted the evening before.
