Marrakech, June 5, 2008 - In line with his mission to promote science, education and community development, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid opened the 25th International Congress of Radiology in Marrakech with the participation of 150 specialists from foreign countries.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid embodies unique brand of leadership that is the target of the scientific congress, as the causes that are closest to the Prince’s heart are helping unprivileged children, and seeking to advance studies in science and technology.
Highlighting his belief in science, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid reiterated his desire to make the conference an opportunity to present the very latest innovations in radiology and to fulfill its mission of making the radiology available to all social groups.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has urged the nations to reform their coordination and find the right solution to deal with deficits both in engaging and empowering scientists, and scientific and technological development.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also called for investing heavily in science and technology, and development in the region, noting that the present investment in these fields is appalling.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has reaffirmed his commitment to the promotion of scientific research in Morocco, as he paid a respected visit to the exhibition booths that cover all the main fields of radiology.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid's philanthropy, devotion and distinguished record of public service and exceptional commitment to humanitarian causes will positively help the International Society of Radiology reach out to more people, not only in the Arab world but across the global, and to develop and advance radiology through education and scientific research throughout the world, and particularly in developing countries.
