HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid provides enlightening observations on Ramadan


Casablanca, September 15, 2008 -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid on Monday hosted Ramadan lecture in the Royal Palace in Casablanca.

In this special part Ramadan series lecture, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid enlightened the holiness and sanctity of Ramadan, morally uplifting Ramadan.

Observance of Ramadan began on September 2nd in Morocco.

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims eat a light pre-dawn meal and fast until sunset, a practice aimed at fostering self-discipline, sacrifice and compassion for the poor.
