Rabat – Morocco, February 2, 2008 -- The ninth chapter of the Francophonie Summit in Beirut presents agenda dedicated to the topic of cultural diversity, with special emphasis on UNESCO's Convention on the Protection.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid lead the Moroccan delegation to the Ninth Francophonie Summit in Beirut, Lebanon, on October 18th to 20th, 2002, with an ambition main goal to advocate for the development of a rules-based UNESCO Convention on cultural diversity.
The article ‘L’appareil diplomatique québécois dans le dossier de la diversité culturelle’, which belongs to a dossier on the international relations of the Canadian provinces published in the Canadian newspaper the Multilateral on January-February 2008, has highlighted His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s forefront international efforts to advance cultural diversity through the International Network on Cultural Policy, La Francophonie and UNESCO.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco and Prime Minister for Quebec, Bernard Landry introduced the topic of cultural diversity to the summit by mutual collaborative efforts, wrote newspaper.
