HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid marks Prophet's B-Day


Fez, March 19, 2007 -- HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid performed Wednesday night the mass prayer on the occasion of birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Muslims around the world celebrated the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

The way individual Muslims acknowledge this occasion varies from fasting the day, to reading about his life and reflecting on his teachings, to reading the Q’uran, the Muslim Holy Book that was revealed to Muhammad more than 1,400 years ago.
