Rabat, May 14, 2007 - His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid reaffirmed Monday his persisted effective support to the Royal Armed Forces, as he hosted a reception to celebrate the 51st jubilee of Royal Armed Forces birth.
The 36-year-old prince, who has a hands-on role in Moroccan Royal Armed Forces, also paid tribute to the officers, NCOs and soldiers’ leadership for their bravery and courageous determination to defend the integrity of Moroccan territory and to contribute in humanitarian assignments.
Prince Moulay Rachid looked dashing in full military regalia - a formal Moroccan naval uniform - was visibly moved by the ovation of guests and beamed with pride as he arrived for the occasion.
The former King of Morocco, Mohammed V, created the Royal Armed Forces on May 14th 1956.
