Rabat, November 9, 2007 – After the success of the previous three events, 2008 is a great year to continue this exciting event, the Friendship Meeting of young scouts.Scout youth project aims to teach a variety of youth groups from all walks of life and backgrounds and to enhance the contribution of youth empowerment.
His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, President of Moroccan Scout Organization, believes that for any society to be successful it must recognize that youth are just as important as all other members of society.
His Royal Highness is hoping with this mission to help develop and nurture friendship amongst the youth, enhance learning and address issues of global importance.
This event will take place in the beautiful cities of Rabat, Fes, Safi and Sefrou, after a very successful edition last year in Rabat, Fes and Marrakech.
The Friendship Meeting project has really pioneered the empowerment practice in the creation of opportunities for scouts, raising awareness and interest within youth.
His Royal Highness is committed to create new opportunities for youth to improve socio-economic status of the children and youth and to explore sustainable networking, confidence building and process by engaging them in international cooperation.
