Rabat, November 1, 2008 -- To entice tomorrow's golf champions, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid will launch the Kid’s Cup on the November 1st, 2008 at the Royal Golf of Anfa-Mohamedia.
As a long-time supporter of children's rights, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has established this children tournament to create access to golf for young children and provide a hand to develop talented golfers into tomorrow’s champions.
Kid’s Cup is a part of ongoing agenda for National Development of Junior Golf, which pledges to support youth’s involvement and progress through increased access to the game of golf, especially those from disadvantaged groups, participate in sport to attain life skills and enjoy an improved quality of life in line with the Millennium Development Goals.
The National Development of Junior Golf was initiated by Crown Prince Moulay Rachid and implemented by formation of the golf schools and juniors tournaments throughout the Kingdom of Morocco.
