Rabat, November 18, 2008 – This November 18 marked 53 years of the Kingdom of Morocco’s independence from France occupation.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, in Morocco’s 53rd Anniversary of the Independence Day, has proved His commitment to the principles and course of actions that have covered all phases of development, as envisioned by His grandfather HM King Mohamed V.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has been keen to safeguard the achievements of His grandfather and father HM King Hassan II and to carry on their great efforts in building a modern society based on the rule of law, impartiality and tolerance.
In the foreign policy domain, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has sustained to work as a dynamic diplomat for global and regional critical issues by pursuing reliable and constructive policy for enriching horizons of cooperation between Morocco and the international partners.
Even though the Independence Day is marked as an outstanding state holiday, was not celebrated by citizens in any public procession or event.
