Rabat, November 6, 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid sent salutation to fellow citizens on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Green March.
Green March commemorates the occasion in 1975 on November 6th, when Crown Prince Moulay Rachid ‘s father, HM King Hassan II, launched the march of 350,000 unarmed Moroccan men and women into the Western Sahara area to reclaim the land.
This was the last time Moroccan history recorded their King to undertake such a courageous task and it may be the last time any King ever did.
In a vacuum of courage, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid provides Moroccans with a broad and encompassing vision, dedicated to establish today’s democratic march for Morocco and to achieve a global peace.
Embracing a new vision for future, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s keen efforts toward sustained evolution leads to remarkable representation of Moroccan patriotism, emulating his father King Hassan II remarkable accomplishments for country's sustainable progress and development.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid proved that people don't follow titles but they follow courageous leadership of building up a nation, which inspires people and honors of their country.
