Rabat, November 14, 2008 – Biding a poignant farewell to Morocco’s historiographer, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid led mourning on Thursday for Abdelouahab Benmansour, who died on Wednesday in Rabat at age of 88 years.
Loving, down-to-earth Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, dressed in Moroccan traditional outfit – djellaba – and fes, stood alongside grieving relatives at the funeral service.
In deep grief and emotion, a somber Crown Prince Moualy Rachid endeavored to comfort grief-stricken family of Mr. Benmamssour as He greeted mourners individually and affectionately hugged and kissed them.
In his eulogy, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid paid condolences over death of Abdelouahab Benmansour, extending solace and empathy, while honoring him as intellectually distinguished human being for his activities to promote Morocco civilization.
