Rabat, October 10, 2008 – Although the Moroccan Parliament does not hold any powers, it resumed its sittings this Friday in the traditional ceremony.
Pushing for the new opportunity for parliamentarians to work for the development of the nation, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid inquires about results of the two decades of long journey in the search for a new more democratic constitution.
During the opening ceremony, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also emphasized the importance to tackle economic problems the country faces and called on the government to step up its efforts in that regard.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, who closely monitors current turmoil in the global financial sector, once again stressed the risks created by the US-centered global economic disaster.
